Hi guys,

I have a Wii Mini that I have hard and soft modded to restore all functionality using these kits -
https://www.tindie.com/products/webhdx/wifi-kit-for-wii-mini/
https://www.tindie.com/products/webhdx/wiimini-sdrst-sd-reset-button-mod-for-wii-mini/
https://www.tindie.com/products/devnol/minirgbii-wii-mini-component480p-video-add-on/

I followed the guides referenced in each listing description and this -
https://wii-mini-hacking.github.io/Pimp-My-mini/

As I understand the end result is that I'm effectively using a standard Wii system and system menu at this point with 480p video on.

For storage I have a 128gb SD card and a 4tb nvme ssd enclosure (which I used linux to change the sector size on to 4k to enable >2TB Fat32 partition)
Both are MBR and have one Fat32 primary partition
Everything has been running perfectly and I've been enjoying a few games and a lot of the homebrew emulators, the only issue I've run into is EmuNand.

ALL WiiWare on EmuNand are recognized and show fine in usb loader gx but they all boot to a black screen.
Using UD neek2o does not help and also boots to a black screen.
I also can not boot directly into the neek sys menu through usb loader gx (you guessed it: black screen).
Notably after trying to boot with UD neek2o my sneek folder, usb1:/sneek, has a new file created each time - "nandcfg.bin" so USB access seems to be working fine.

Installing the same exact WiiWare wads to my system nand works perfectly
And even loading them off of my SD card after moving them through official system memory management works fine.

For the EmuNand I have tried dumping it through usb loader gx and I've tried building one using ModMii both with and without PriiLoader installed.
While trying to load a game through EmuNand I can see the activity light on my ssd enclosure stay light and blink for a short bit every once in a while.

When creating the EmuNand through ModMii I currently said No to basically everything similar to this -
https://rwiihacks.com/tutorials/emunand/index.html

Currently I'm using -

I've been reading through a lot of Cyan's guides trying to troubleshoot and get this to work.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/neek2o-stuck-on-reloading-bootmii-ios.533979/post-8562378

I also tried these fixes in a post from blackb0x -
https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiware...and-emunand-black-screen.629016/post-10144130

And I've read through the Troubleshooting Guide -
https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx-troubleshooting-guide.617564/

I can only think of three more things to try -
1) Track down whichever old version of Uneek that still had support for PriiLoader, install that version instead, then try dumping my own nand to emunand again with usb loader gx
2) Uninstall Priiloader, dump my nand to emunand through usb loader gx, and then reinstall Priiloader
3) Try sneek instead?...??

Does anyone have any other ideas or see anything wrong?
Also Does anyone know know which version of neek still supported priiloader?

Any help would be appreciated, been working on modding and setting up this wii for like over a month or so now and I feel like I'm so close to having it perfect!

Modmii states onscreen which version of neek2o began bypassing priiloader. It should be stated on the screen where users are asked if they want to install priiloader (when either building or modifying an emunand).

You waited 10-15 minutes when booting the emunand for the first time? Try this without installing any additional game titles. It's possible a single problematic wad would be causing issues, and even if it isn't the more content you add to the emunand the longer it may take to boot, especially the very first time.

Hey! It's been a while, recently moved and didn't have internet for a while.

I fixed the issue! Here are the details if anyone in the future also is having issues -

Came back to this and tried your suggestion, ran through the emunand setup with modmii. Did all the same as before except I only installed 2 wiiware, pokemon rumble and pokemon ranch.

1) Tried to boot into emunand through usb loader gx, got a black screen.
2) Renamed the nand folder to 01, now the 2 games show in usb loader GX
3) Tried to boot into emunand through usb loader gx, once again a black screen...
4) Tried booting pokemon ranch just to see and... it worked!?

I got a message about the system file being corrupted but I easily fixed that by copying over the cert.sys from my nand to my emunand! And now I can play wiiware :grog:

Still can not boot into the neek system menu but that is okay, I suppose this means that one of the wads may have been causing issues... so that could be tricky to narrow down.

Anyways thanks again!!! Finally closer to having my dream wii setup

@Cyan

Finally got NEEK working along with normal emunand! :grog:
All issues resolved now!!

In the end I had to use SNEEK, is it possible that UNEEK does not work on the wii mini because it expects the HDD to be on the other usb port which doesn't exist? I've noticed some older homebrew expect the usb hdd to be on the other port.
