Even after getting the cache.bin, it's still pretty slow, at least on the O3DS. Will this become faster in the future?

i believe the issue is that the game will not automatically format the sentences to the box size, you probably have to find where the overlap, and place the text equivalent of a line return. im not familiar with how the text works, so i can't describe how to do it.

no, this is because the game must have full width, you cange this but not sure how ... but if the game already have half width characters would be easier :x

oh, that, i didnt notice the space between the letters. i thought the problem was that the words escaped the box. sorry.

Well that too. I did a line return and it split the 2 sentences from top to bottom.

I have a Google Japanese IME with Half-Width Alphanumeric as an option. Should I use that?

You have to modify the font, because i don't think that the game decodes the encoded halfwidth characters as fullwidth characters (it wouldn't make any sense).

There would be "ctr_FontConverter.exe" from the Nintendo SDK...

Where would I find that? I found a github repo but I have XML errors when compiling it.

If a hacker is looking for a translator, I played through Daigyakuten Saiban and kept all my notes. I'm not looking to join a "team" of translators (but I'm not adverse to working with one or two other translators) but really need someone who can do the software work.
