Download the files, make sure they show up, then zip it up and then pm you the mega link

Calm down, just right click the file which you downloaded (9.2.0-20(E)) and click on properties. After that uncheck the box that says block file and apply. Now they would work.

I'm confused...
the md5 check is weird.
A number of tuts says to match:
E5F40C3B155CFD12EF38BE35D2E81D2E
But I get a diff number.

The zip I got from the blog says to match the MD5 with:
E6339468A1E82B1D50E9222F017C0477

(Proof)

E6339468A1E82B1D50E9222F017C0477 is the exact number I get in the checksum above.

So is every thing okay??? Are those older tuts just old and outdated?

As I had said, downgrade to 10.5frist usingsmashhax, and then downgrade to 9.2 from 10.5 using menuhax.

I've actually hit a standstill I don't have the v1.0.1 pcap for smashbroshax helper, and that's the only thing I need to get to homebrew

Checksum is different because all new3ds pack now have two old3ds file in them, I don't know why they are completely unnecessary and I can only think that they will cause problems later on. Other than that the pack is good, run it through SSUs check feature

the older packs have 102 files
the newer/current ones have 104 files...

Hey! I'm trying to downgrade from 10.7 to 10.5 using smashhax. I've attempted about 20 times so far. Every single time, the screen flashes red for half a second and then both screens go dark.

Any ideas on what I could try?

What are the chances of success to downgrade without formatting the device?

If I format it, I will still have to rerun NinjHax to have an entry point, right?

Should be fairly high, there are contributing factors that can cause complications that only a format can solve. *hax are firmware specific not console specific and are installed to the gamecard so you just have to navigate to the qr code menu
