Sounds like they may downplay the whole royalist aspect of the franchise. That sounds good to me. I must admit that I find it difficult to save a kingdom whose goddesses (almost) always make you a lowly peasant.
Yes, I know it's a game.

Yes, I know it's a game.
The goddesses aren't the ones that create each new Link, though.

other should say - "pirate it"

I don't think it'll do that well, unless there are multiple control methods. Otherwise, it's gonna be a pain in the ass to control.

Why not? Twilight Princess did well on the Wii and it was just a port.

The game's gonna become a hit I guess.
All Zelda games are with the exception of the CD-i games(even though they aren't as bad as people think). Even the 2 DS games that people whine and cry about the touch screen controls and boring transportation systems did very well.
Actually, the second one didn't do very well (for a Zelda game).

I too think this game won't be the usual Zelda epic good. I think it will be around 85% on average at GameRankings but nothing more. Zelda games should get 88%+ IMHO.

The second one actually did do pretty well. A lot of people might not have liked it because of how different the game was compared to the first, but it still sold over 4million copies(more than Majora's Mask). Overall it's a very good game despite the difficulty that made it too hard for most people, but a lot of us, myself included, really enjoyed Zelda II.

I was talking about the second DS game, not Zelda 2.

I was unaware that Spirit Tracks selling 2.6 million copies in a little over a year and a half and having a metascore of 87 was unsuccessful.

I didn't said unsuccessful, I've said sold less than most of the Zeldas. And it's justifiable, as the game isn't even that good at all.
