Cell shading is the auto tuner of video games, if you can't get spectacular graphics you use cell shading. But I really do love cell shading.
really? i could have sworn bloom was the autotune of videogame graphics.

No way, bloom does not work miracles like cell shading. But we all got our opinions.

The poll options are clearly written by someone who doesn't like the graphics but also is sure they are the same as WW. I'd like to see an option such as 'I like these graphics but I didn't like WW'

When I get to play the game and see the graphics up close and personal, rather than a few early screenshots and misleading videos.

Twilight graphics were boring.
Just looked like the Wii trying too hard to look good.

Windwaker suits nintendo games much more, and just looks plain awesome.
The graphics jump out way more, and look unique.

Fixed that for you

You guys say wind waker style but wasn't the minish cap the first Toon Link game?
Wind Waker predates it by over a year.

Link to the Past and Links Awakening were both pretty cartoony if you ask me.

there there own
Even by the law of averages you were quite unlucky not to have got either of those right.

OK, why do people still hate on WW? I thought we moved past that when the game was released and everybody realised that it was excellent.

i think he needs to look more realistic, it made nintendo look less sucky!

now its like: okay, lets go back to 2000... wait WTF, THIS IS 2010!?!? WHY DO GRAPHICS LOOK LIKE N64?!?!

I like this style, because I really didn't like TP that much, mainly by the realistic graphics that are only half possible on Wii.
I think they saw that too, and realized that a cartoony style fits the Wii more, and that the Wii can power and maintain those graphics.

i don't give a shit about graphics as do all true gamers

I don't care much for graphics myself. But the weird combination of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess wasn't what I was expecting. In my opinion, cel-shaded graphics really make jagginess and blurry textures stick out like sore thumbs.

Well, at any rate, you could totally tell that the E3 demo was very early in development. Give em' time to polish everything up!

Well you do realize that Twilight Princess on the Wii was basically just the Gamecube Twilight Princess except with Wii controls (pointer and motion). Otherwise they're practically identical. It was pretty much one of the earliest Wii games out there, and we all know launch titles don't look as good as later titles.

Preferred the Twilight Princess graphics style but I didn't hate the Windwaker graphics. I just find it strange that it looks like they've just done a texture swap.

"i don't give a sh about graphics as do all true gamers "

thats a bold statment (youtube refernce anyone?)
no but seriously, a game shouldnt be measured by its graphics alone, OR ITS CONTENT ALONE. there should be an even balance.

for example, lets take halo reach. now, lets say that its content and everything is twice as good as halo 3 (the best selling 360 game) and it suddenly has 3d graphics worse than the GBA. not many sold.

thats not true with retro games though, because they didnt have the tech, but today there is no excuse.

also the reverse is obviously, and more noticably true, if you had a game with such good graphics and 3d effect without graphics, and perfect head tracking, that made it look so real it looked better than the real world... if all you could do was fight one enemy, it would suck.

so enough with your "true gamer" stuff...

This has the best graphics style of any Zelda game I've seen or played. And yeah, I don't see why you classified it as similar to WW because it's not.

I'll do you one better. How about GBA graphics, but 2D. It's been done, and IMO the game is better than the actual game it was based from. I present to you Halo Zero. Your argument is now invalid.
