Homebrew Zelda Minish cap Unable to save

hi , i have a G6DS Real 1GB and a 3in1 expansion EZ flash , im also using rodolphs tool v1.9 , evrything ive tried has been great and works fine but ive tried to play zelda the minish cap and when i go to start a new game im getting a msg saying save file corrupt and if i try to create a new file it says unable to save , ive noticed that zelda MC is bigger than most GBA games tho at 16mb ?

Just tried zelda link to the past GBA and exactly the same thing

Did you bother to read *any* documentation about the 3-in-1, or think to use the search function in this forum?

Yep, you gotta patch the games. Pretty sure the right program you need is "gbata".

i downloaded GBATA patched it and now its fine
