Seriously, you had NOTHING done when you opened this thread. Having a make as you go game is not going to work. To make a Zelda on the scale that you are attempting, you need years of preplanned story before the first line of programming is started. You've changed so many things and lets not forget not coming through with anything that you have said before. If you want ideas for what to put in your game, start with the things that you've already stated were IN your game.

I still can't believe how many gullible people think this project is going anywhere. I also don't know why the mods haven't closed this thread weeks ago either. Shoot me in the head due to all the stupidity in this forum.
That is pretty harsh. I mean, yeah he did BS a lot in the beginning, but its not like he isn't trying make a decent game. From what it sounds like, he has a fairly general idea about how things are going to work and is just asking for any extra ideas that people would actually want in the game (we all have fantasies about what Link should have in his arsenal) to make the game more enjoyable for the users. Plus, the storyline doesn't seem to have changed yet (since we don't actually know it yet).
Ahem, well it seems to me he has no idea what he's going to do with the game and really should just sit down, write out a story, THEN ask us what we think. If he wants to make the game he shouldn't be asking us about every little detail and releasing a demo every time he makes a tiny change like changing the font. Honestly, I don't think this is gonna go anywhere. I mean, tons of people that try to make homebrew games drop their projects, but at least they actually have an idea of what they want to do and get part of it done.

This is also why there are a bunch of people fighting in this thread. It really should be locked until SK actually has some progress done as said in other posts.

There is a big difference between coming up with idea's and implementing them into the game. The only thing accomplished so far in this game is a moving sprite and a couple of collisions. You really can't be expecting much from a 13 year old using DsGameMaker. His attention span isn't even long enough to stay focused on 1 game (Blackshadow Ds) and he lacks basic knowledge of C++. I highly doubt he has the skills needed to add any of the things he claimed to have done before. I wouldn't expect this game to progress much further if at all.

I know I'm being mean but people are setting their expectations way too high for this game and I am tired of Skullcollector lying.

What I think you all should do, is sit back, relax, don't worry about the progress, expect the unexpected..

I think I did that on page 3 of this topic. Then page 12. Then I think page 21. Still nothing.

sooo...everyone knows this topic was started like, less than two months ago, right? and everyone doesn't Expect monthly demo updates (or demos at all) from game developers with literally millions of dollars at their disposal, correct?

so, maybe everyone can back off regarding some Individual person trying to make a Zelda game. If this thread dies down, and no one hears anything about anything- who cares? You'll still find out about it whenever the homebrew is released, probably.

And if you don't, there's a trusty search function on this very website! OMGz!

Hopefully, if the MB's aren't too big. I have reduced the sound bitrate, thus leaving the MBs low.

Can someone tell me, what was the first demo like ? What did the story scroll look like ?
I need to know these, because I have not got that demo.

@ Skull: I suggest you update the first post with screenies videos etc (some people don't like to read all the pages to find them)

The progress I have made so far is :
Roge Island, Links island, but has some secrets to it.
Train gameplay.
Hyrule Market - Not finished but contains ; Guards, traders, dealers, normal people and a dog that follows you for no reason.
Some shops.
