So I was playing phantom hourglass on my DSx and I've had my save file corrupted twice now so I was wondering if I should start playing it on my R4 card instead

. Has anyone got the same problem as me with DSx? and does the save work good on R4?

i completed the game from starting to finish (not including gathering all the stuff)..just beating the last boss, and watching the final video.

im using R4. never froze when playing normally and my save never got corrupted. just at one time, i tried using codes for my ship, and it crashed while fighting the last boss, so i had to clear it without codes (just had to be more careful and alert)

so yah, no problems with R4 whatsoever. i didnt patch the game, it is a clean rom. i didnt even trim it, because it only trimmed out about 1.5mb (dont remember exact).

I played Zelda completly to the end on my r4 with only one freeze.
I use the 1.11 firmware and a trimmed rom from the romtrimmer 2.0 for r4.
and the japan 2gb kingston if tht matters...

Same here, just today finished, a lot of bonus items gathered. Generally no problems, one strange glitch with sound, after reset was back to normal.
Japanese Kingston 1GB, fw 1.11, clean rom, trimmed with trimmer 2.0

I have been playing zelda on my ds-x for at least 6 hours now, and I havn't had any problems. I believe my ds-x version is still 1.1.0

Which was the best release ever. After that, 1.1.2 was the start of the end for the DS-X, and rarely I hear that flashcart's name again. Migrated to an R4 since then.

Im about half way through using the DS-X and the latedt firmware ... no problems here

I understand why the DS-x has got such a bad name but for me its awesome !

It only has 512mb of space but thats enough for the 5-10 games im playing ! and the rest just sit on my pc

Download play is second to none and all the games I have wanted to play work fine (with the arm 7 patch)

DS-X RULES !

I just had one freeze actually. I'm about 40-50% through. I am using a slower Kingston card however, so I just blame the card. We'll see if it happens again. I have an R4 with kernel 1.11
