It's too early to tell. Better to wait till it actually releases. It could potentially be changed via the meta files. Subtiles may be swappable if using msbt ones. And voices also could potentially be swappable aswell if you wanna do dual audio, but still we don't know how exactly it works.

Mostly I just want to be sure to generate interest in this prior to launch.

Even if you may not personally care, I have a large preference for the original audio of these things. Bravely Default, Xenoblade, and others. If Japanese is there, I will make use of it.

There are other game un-dubs already, right? Like Xenoblade X? Wii U hacking wasn't far enough along for me to make use of it for that game (it was better than Xenoblade's dub at least) but I think I heard it was done at some point. What was the process for that one?

I feel that, due to Japanese sentence structure being different from English, that body language and emotions always match up better on the Japanese language version than a dub ever can manage. The visual content is rarely-if-ever redone to match the restructuring of English.

For Zelda it won't be ~as~ big of an issue as something like a Final Fantasy game or an anime series, but realize that some of us are just looking for extra options, not a forced change for everyone. :P

Can you understand it though? If not it seems really strange to prefer it.

If I understood it I'd prefer it too. I'd even purchase a Japanese system to play only Japanese games.

I'm studying japanese language, I always prefer japanese voices when given the chance for me to learn in constructing sentences.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
