Hi, I installed BOTW with fw skip but everytime I try to start it, the game requires for an update. What can I do to fix it? I am using an nsp backup

Just get the game an NSP update and install it. Which is your firmware version?

Usually this happens when your save was on a newer version than the current version.

7.0.1 I tried with 1.6 update but the game gave me an error after I started it

Well, I recommend you to update to 8.0.1 as newer games will certainly ask this fm version, but you can just use devmenu and remove the update manually, and then install one version earlier. Did you have mods installed? As it can break the game on this version too.

I just used devmenu to fix the problem. I want to update but I can't connect to xbin to download the fw. I also need exfat support

There´s a discord channel that can help you, it´s called HBG (I don´t know if it can be shared here). You can just choose exFat and still use Fat32, what I also recommend as exFat format is full of problems on Switch, various cases of corrupt data and worst, so you may give a try.

I have a 128gb micro SD so I need exFat. Am I wrong? I have another question: I want to install 1.6 update for better loading time but if I install it the game doesn't run with a generic error. There are differents updates?

You don´t need exFat, just install this:

And use Goldleaf/Goldtree or Tinfoil. With that you will never need to remove your SD Card, what can prevent fails on the card reader (and that´s a lot of cases!).

About the updates, I can´t say, but on that discord channel I´ve never get any error with the files.
