I want to believe the video you posted is real and there's zero difference besides the resolution but I think it's fake. It looks too similar, WAY too similar, the resolution itself should bring more details. It might as well be the same video running twice.

it does, you can clearly see much more details on the rocks texture outside, less aliasing, and more shaders (like the lens flares), its legit to me, feel free to comapre with the first 15min of IGN on the switch version mate :)
SWITCH IGN

WiiU

in the horsehouse (?), behind the the horses, are dogs, hens, goats, all moving
Yeah, there, my gosh there is so much going on on that place, the WiiU is strugling big time x), even kakariko is not dropping that much lol.

the horse house is first point that the game starts to drop so noticable... and in first 5 minutes if you turn on the torch with the old man fire the game crash too.. kakariko is bad as devil too... i hope switch version is better... 400 euros for 15fps is not fair

Frame rate boost & anti-aliasing settings on a television? I think you're sadly mistaken as to what features your tele actually has and what they are for. Lmao.
I suppose one could call those motion-prediction, artifact-galore, soap-opera filters "frame rate boosters" (or frame poopers perhaps)
But I am curious what could have passed as "anti-aliasing" for your average person... a blurring filter?
Yeah, blurring fits as the "quality antialiasing" counterpart of the soap-opera "frame rate boosting".

Phew, that direct-feed Wii U footage kinda calmed my fears down. Sure. It still looks too watered down compared to the Switch.. barely little detail. A bit blurry, misty, you can see the Wii U struggles. But at least it's playable.. like..

Oh who am I kidding.. eeehhh.. I don't care. I'll just try to play the thing.. and not think of the better Switch version.

For me the game runs better on nand. On USB the textures didn't seem to load fast and loading shrines took a bit. Looks better now but still has the fps drops at the stables and the village.

Fixed for you.

When you think that WiiU ver is horrible, take a step back, watch that and think that people really bought it for their O3DS... it run so bad on O3DS that the game use frameskip to keep up ! x)

I'm far from home and my wiiu , but i'm wondering , those who think the game runs well , are they running the PAL version on a PAL console ? Could the issues be worse on a NTSC console playing the PAL version ?

It's the same console regarding performance and FPS. HDMI means no more NTSC or PAL. Those are concepts from the far past.

I don't think it's issue about console region.
I have PAL and CBHC, game is installed on NAND and it's just glorious in my opinion.
