Hello dear community,

i'm new to "emulators" and i'm currently trying my luck with the Nintendo Switch Emulator "Yuzu".

In the beginning I had problems to start a game at all and now I'm a bit unlucky to enjoy smooth gaming.

Well, it could also be my computer is not up to the requirements. But I still love my baby.:grog:

Some PC Details:

My graphics card is the AMD radeon R7 m360 graphics card and my PC is equipped with an Intel I7 6500U processor.

I have already tried the game "Luigi Manson 3" with OpenGL and Vulkan without playing freezes, but without success.

Used only for Luigi Manson 3.

On your board i found the mod for using 60fbs but i not know how to install.

About your help i would be very happy.

regards

You'll be needing a new computer. Yuzu is incredibly unoptimised and even people with top of the range computers struggle on most games.

These are the MINIMUM specifications recommended for yuzu for 3D games: Intel Core i5-8600K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 470 8GB, 16GB RAM. You can use worse specs but experience a bad time.

I used to own a 6500U processor and it's not definitely enough and will lock the whole computer up trying to emulate. Yuzu also needs at least 8GB of ram in order to function because windows will eat so much ram by default and you're going to want 16 GB of ram.

Yuzu also fervently hates AMD. This is because AMD's opengl drivers suck so you'll get horrible unplayable speeds on most games if you don't use vulkan. If you use vulkan, you'll find it's extremely unstable compared to opengl and people have reported memory leaks and crashing.

For Luigi's Mansion 3 you'll have to use the 15FPS patch. It's the only way you can get a half decent speed on lower end systems ;p

You need a decent pc and good open gl support. You also need to set up the emulator properyl and read all of the given faq on the Yuzu website. That being said 8gb is fine for ram for Yuzu and your cpu matters more than anything. Yes a decnt Nvidia GPU is preferred but it isn't neccesary.
Last of all not all games are supported or only are if you set them up right. https://yuzu-emu.org/game/
Use that website to find out how to set up each game optimally.
