Hacking YSMENU lag

I just started using YSMENU with my DSTT and I noticed in the multiplayer mode of some games there are obvious signs of lag. There's no lag when I use the official DSTT kernel. Does anyone else have that problem?

Hiya mate, ive just started using YSMENU and ive never had any probs with the dstt menu. What games are you having probs with? let me know and il try them with both menus and report back what i get.

Mario Kart DS - When the ROM is ran by YSMENU there are obvious signs of lag when I used wireless multiplayer with a friend. This doesn't happen when I use the official DSTT menu. I tested both cases with a friend using a real copy of the game.

I prefer YSMENU because it's more user friendly, but right now im switching between the two because the lag really bothers me (and it probably bothers my friends too).
