Hacking YSMenu greyscale edition

Sometimes when I boot up YSMenu the menu graphics are greyscale. When launching a game everything is normal, though. Yesterday it was always grey, but so far today, it has been in colour again. What's the cause of this?

No I didn't, because I only just started using it for the first time on the day before

Yeah. It turned out to be an April Fool's joke.
I set the date on my DS back to yesterday and it was grayscale. Yasu must have programmed it in.
