the paintings will take you to different places depending what order you visit the worlds in. so you just have to find the painting in another world that will take you there.
the order your supposed to visit them is for the guide to work
cap - cascade - sand - lake - wood - cloud - lost - metro - snow - seaside - lunch - ruined - bowser - moon

otherwise find the painting in another world that will take you there. you'll get there eventually.

game is boring af.
easy af. everything is so obvious.
vast open spaces of nothingness.
too many moves available (misclicks happen way too often)
why bunnies and not mini-bowsers?
camera has you jumping into the void frequently.
boss attacks can majorily be avoided by running circles.
backtracking i.e. playing a level multiple times because some rocks disappeared.


its nowhere near a 10.
id give it a 6 or 7.

Regarding the painting I need to access in Wooded Kingdom (to grab moon 62 for Sand Kingdom) in this video here at the 3 minute mark it shows how to access it, the problem is that i dont have the scarecrow in the charging station on mine and I have no idea why not - also a few seconds prior in the video it shows a surf board and some other stuff there which I dont see in mine

(I have completed the story and beaten bowser)

Well just finished it at 100% I liked the post game part, especially last moon. But some other moon where pretty much frustrating, mostly minigame one (I STILL HATE YOU JUMPING ROPE !!!! Only moon I had a friend done it for me ! ).
But overall I really like the game. Not perfect, but really excellent. I'll keep my 9/10

I think it's a school boy error on my part, When doing the Wooded Kingdom I had enough moons to fuel up the Odyssey so didn't complete the level, I guess once I do the level fully all the after stuff will show itself

It is GODLIKE and the best mario game I played since Mario 64. Nothing can bring back this feeling, oh well, when I was 10 years old and played this for the first time, but it gets really close.
