Is it possible to use the same sdcard on two JB switches?

QUESTION

My 2017 era Switch has had ongoing issues with the sdcard reader (have replaced the reader, had the connector on the MB replaced/resoldered and tried multiple sd cards), and i think the microsoldering technician has stuffed it completely (been back multiple times unsuccessfully). Im going to look at buying a similar unpatched switch to replace it and just JBing it. Does anyone know if it is possible to log into my nintendo account on the replacement switch (to activate it against my profile), then take it offline, JB it, and then just use my existing sdcard (with games, saves etc)? Or do i need to start everything fresh? Cheers in advance

It is best to use one card per unit, you are having that SD card slot problem since you keep ejecting the card.

Yes, you'll have to delete the nintendo folder in your sdcard for the new console to start using it.

No, my kids dropped it and it was funky ever since I've tried to get it repaired repeatedly. Only have the one switch (with super slow sdcard reader since the MB connectors are damaged) so looking at getting a replacement. Wanted to know if there was a shortcut to setting up the replacement rather than reinstalling everything post-JB and then transferring saves as well. Sounds like there isn't though...

Games have to be reinstalled, as for save data you can export and import.
