I have a R4DS with 1.18 firmware. I downloaded the newest cheat.dat but it doesn't show a cheat when I go to Yoshi's Island (U). Why isn't it showing the cheat for Yoshi's Island?

It's possible that there wasn't any Yoshi Island cheats to begin with, or the cheats were accidentally deleted from the cheat.dat file.
no, it is because yoshi's island cheats are way down on the bottom of the cheat file.
either delete some of the useless cheats in the file, or drag the "yoshi's island" cheat folder all the way up to the top of the list. to do so, you need a program to edit the cheat file which is called r4cce (R4 Cheat Code Editor) i believe there is a tutorial on how to do everything, but im sure you can figure it out by yourself.
