Clear your cookies and history (or all save data if you're on New 3DS). I made a video in the original post showing how to use it.

Done that several times on my o3DS, even with the browser save data. I previously tried doing it with your video before posting, but that didn't help my problem either. I'm not running any other exploits, no different themes other than the default, and the boot.3dsx is the latest one and is in the root of the sd card.

Honestly I think my 3DS has a vendetta against me.

It's so unstable on o3DS because of how the hack works. It's stable on n3DS because it's a video player hack not a browser hack.

You can use any NH 2.x hack to install it.

Care to elaborate? in particular given my final objective (auto boot rxtools and that's it, no sysnand or homebrew channel) what should I do?

You don't have themes on 4. It was implemented in 9

For browserhax: It works like shit on o3DS. On older firmwares it's even worse. So you've got a double whammy. For themehax: You don't have themes on 4.x.

Just for clarity, is the crashing something that could be improved for o3DS users by the makers of the exploit, or is something like that not possible?

In the meantime, I'll keep trying with the current setup.

If you are going to try and help people at least read their messages properly, I gave my firm version on the previous page and you didn't say anything. Oh well, that's in the past. Can I use a cia to update to 9.2? like injecting fbi on the sysnand and running the 9.2 update from there.

You could use a game card to update to 9.0-9.2. There's a list somewhere with updates I think, or only for 4.1-4.5...

Look for any way to update your console to 9.0 - 9.2 FW! (SysUpdater, maybe?!)

But, AFAIK, browserhax (with HBL) doesn't work anyway on consoles under FW9.0!

I'm using a 2DS with firmware 9.0.0-20E, every time I tap the volume slider I get given a yellow bottom screen and shortly after that I am greated with a grey screen, my 2DS hangs on this screen forcing me to hard reboot, I have tried deleting history, deleting cookies and deleting all save data and I still can't get it to work, if I try going to sliderhax through the main site after touching the slider the system freezes and then kicks me back to the home menu with an error telling me to restart the console

Try waiting a few seconds before tapping it.
