Hacking Yellows8 latest exploits allow cfw?

Hi,

I'm fairly new here, so CFW and 3DS hacks/exploits are new to me.
I've heard about the exploits for the 3DS theme and web browser that were just released and wanted to know if they could be used kinda like the way the ninjhax exploit works to load CFW or setup the Gateway?
Do the developers of the CFW and flash carts (Gateway) need to update their stuff so we can use them, or can we already use them now? I guess it would depend how far the exploit can go in terms of console access right?
I'm asking because I don't have a copy of Cubic Ninja and I'm looking for an alternative (and I also dont have Zelda Ocarina of Time or a save dongle).

I think at this stage its the same entry point as ninjhax 2.0, so no CFW compatibility.
And for CFW compat, it would need to be implemented, it wouldnt just magically work.

You have a tonne more options for n3ds anyway.

Ninjhax, OOTHAX, MSET. Those are the main entry points for N3ds I believe.

In terms of the OOTHAX, do I actually need a save dongle? Because in the Gateway doc they don't mention anything about a save dongle and that you just put it on the mSD card.
Abit confused on that lol.

EDIT: K, I re-read it and it does say OR a third-party save dongle, but it says that if I have a firmware that can enter gateway mode, so what firmware can enter that?

You need a save dongle to put a hacked save onto OOT. OR you can use an already modded 3ds.

You have an N3DS, so its Cubic ninja, or OOT for you.

You could get it to work, just load the cfw payload instead of the otherapp.

There is also gateway that works. With gateway, you can downgrade to 4.x (x depend of your region) and then use any hacks you like. The "CFW" PBT (Perfect Bricking Tool) is great to play DSi games. I didn't test RxTools alot tough.

I've been thinking about the gateway, if I can find someone that can do all the installation for me when I go out and try to find a flash cart.
I just like the fact that it just has everything in the one card such as homebrew support, region free, .cia support and has a menu to go through your games. I think I'd get abit pissed off having to press the button on the sky3ds every time I want to play a game and it requires more tinkering to get all the other stuff that the Gateway already has (atleast that's how it seems).
But I'll have to see what I end up finding and whether the person I get the card from can also do the setup. Otherwise I'll probably end up buying a Sky3DS online.

GW doesnt have .cia support
Why would you pay someone to set up GW, and why would you then pay for a GW. Just set up Emunand through Cake/Rei/rxTools for free (minus the cost of cubic ninja or OOT)

If you want you could get Sky3DS and boot Cubic Ninja through that, but Gateway really isnt worth getting at this stage, CFW does everything better, and for free.
