For all of you who can't find the ios. Check the archive linked earlier with the source from tehskeen. It contains the installer you're looking for ...

I have that specific installer, but somehow it cant get past the "press A to install or shut down to cancel" screen. Do I need to be on 3.2 to do it? Im at 4.0 (updated with wanin's updater) and im with IOS60 patched... Would one of these interfere? Sorry for my (possible stupid) question.

That shouldn't interfere. Do your Wiimotes sync up at all? Otherwise, it should just be pushing A ...

Yep, the wiimotes do sync (99% sure ill re-check later)... Its really strange I tried cios_usb2_beta2, cios_usb2_beta3, cios_dip_usb2_beta2... Same thing, on all of them. Anyone else had this issue?

EDIT: Just tested again, they do sync, all 4. I have no clue of whats happening.

Dammit, battery of the camera empty...

Here is the dol : http://www.tepetaklak.com/data/yal-channel.rar

Find the string RCPP18 in the dol and change with your disc id...

For the actual channel I used XCPP title id... that's for the game Kororinpa

ps: about the code changes... you only need to do this along with joda's changes... usb gecko detection is the problem...

CODEvoid debug_printf(const char *fmt, ...) {
/*
ÂÂif(usb_isgeckoalive(1)){
ÂÂÂÂchar buf[1024];
ÂÂÂÂint len;
ÂÂÂÂva_list ap;
ÂÂÂÂusb_flush(1);
ÂÂÂÂva_start(ap, fmt);
ÂÂÂÂlen = vsnprintf(buf, sizeof(buf), fmt, ap);
ÂÂÂÂva_end(ap);
ÂÂÂÂif (len sizeof(buf)) printf("Error: len = %d\n", len);
ÂÂÂÂelse usb_sendbuffer(1, buf, len);
ÂÂ}
*/
}

Damn!!!
I thought about usb gecko 100 times.Thank you very much for the code

WiiCrazy, can we use that dol for all the games (after changing the disc ID for each)? Or is that specific to one game or something.

A bit of a silly question to ask, but can someone make me a SSBB (PAL) and Mario Kart Wii (PAL) channels please? Also, can i have them sent to me via PM please?

Can please someone compile this for me?
link

The stupid devkit pro servers are down!!!
I try to use the devkitProUpdater-1.4.10.exe two days now.When are they going to fix them????????
Is there any other way to install devkit pro on my pc?

Is there a site somewhere which we can download the Wad's?
(as its not allowed on here)

Again, make sure you have banner brick protection before trying out and youself making custom channels!

The best banner brick protection at the moment is having preloader installed... but even that can't help with certain wad installs...

So it's to your benefit not requesting channels...

@bluebird12 : try modified yal dol in homebrew channel first (sending via wiiload or another way you prefer)

This is pretty awesome....I was thinking of trying to make a Smash Bros channel with the original banner and such, but I don't really want to install preloader right now and I've no need for a big white brick under my TV.

I finally got the cios_dip_usb2 installed... it was the GC memory cards, once I unplugged them, the installation started to download the req files, now ill be able to test this

Thanks to everyone that tried to help

The channels that work on the System Menu work perfectly.

I have a problem with 2 games though.

*House of the Dead: Overkill
*Tenchu Shadow Assassins

These two both ask that the game disc be placed inside the Wii. These two work fine from the USB loader, just not directly from the system menu.

Any help and it will be great.

Launching from Channels is the fastest approach though.

Since these are official banners and everything, they are all compressed correctly meaning they wont take up that much space at all.

For obtaining the Banners from Games (fastest method for me):

Open up the .ISO with WiiScrubber.

Go to the Data Partition.

Scroll down until you see "opening.bnr"

Right click and hit "Save/Extract"

Rename that file to: 00000000.app

Obtain a wad file you would like to use as the base.

Unpack the wad, replace the 00000000.app with the one from the game.

Rename "boot.dol" to 00000001.app and replace it.

Repack the wad.

Use New VC Injector to edit the Region/Title ID and everything is all set.

*Do not give a channel the same ID as the game itself as you may overwrite the game's save file.
This doesn't seem to work for me. I used a small channel (the lib4 example from wadder) and replaced the 00000000.app and the 00000001.app and left the 00000002.app in the folder from the extracted wad. I then re put the wad together using the files from the original wad and the new 00000000.app and 00000001.app. I install the wad, and there is no new channel, though there is a "?" channel under channel management.
