Maybe he did, but I'm gladly buying one of these!
All I'm saying is, you get what you pay for in life. You can either be stuck getting fucked over by the closed ecosystems of consoles, or be able to do whatever the fuck you want with a PC that can do more than what even a Switch could dream of!
I
seriously hope you're joking here, because otherwise this is the most blatant product placement I've seen yet. Good to see people willing to play as GPD's unpaid marketing interns.
Hate to break it to ya, but if you're spending $1k on something of that size, you may as well get an actual laptop and a controller for cheaper - because it might as well be the same darn thing. Also not taking into consideration the maintenance required with a Windows PC, drivers, multiple game launchers, gamepad support being iffy, and needing to go full Low-Spec Gamer for anything AAA you want to play. At least the Switch has developers dedicated to doing that for you, and being significantly more convenient in general.
It's also paying massive disrespect to the homebrew developers who work their asses to make the Switch the best possible all-in-one brew/emulation system around, without expecting anything in return. Considering the thing can play everything up through and including enhanced-resolution Dreamcast and PSP without a sweat, alongside the homebrew and commercial ports coming out every other day... well, what else did you expect to hear from
the Nintendo Switch forums?
ANYWAYS, back on topic,
Sega Saturn's a real bitch. You pretty much
need the better utilization of hardware in L4T, and even then it won't perform great simply due to the inherent challenges emulating the chipset of the Saturn. I won't expect miracles here. If you're
looking to play Saturn... yeah, buy a PC, or wait for some out-of-left-field breakthrough from the Sega community. Iunno.
