New Version to handle v20+ saves.
Hex edit the decrypted saves or use the .pc.sav.dec file in conjunction with lazybone's editor.
This will not decrypt or encrypt PC saves. It only mimics their decrypted format so the editor works with them.

  1. Get save file from Switch
  2. Make backup(s)
  3. Decrypt file with tool (Drag and drop or xv2savdec_switch.exe path_to_save_file)
  4. Hex edit .switch.sav.dec or open .pc.sav.dec with the editor
  5. Re-encrypt modified file with the tool. Same process as #3.
  6. Return file to Switch
  7. ???
  8. Profit

I know it has nothing to do with the post but I wanted to know if anyone has something similar happen to them.
With the last two or three updates to the game (current 1.21.00 / v1769472) the game freezes and then crashes when pressing start on the title screen. It only happens when you install DLC 010078D000F89012 which contains Conton City Vote Pack (Goku UI sign, Vegeta GT, Dyspo). I'm not sure but I think it's something to do with the game trying to connect to the servers (it still happens with airplane mode), but it only happens on Switch, on emulators like yuzu or Ryujinx the game starts correctly and there is no problem. Has anyone been able to solve it?

How do you make this work? I don't see a .exe or anything.

Side note: I'm damn near computer illiterate.

Anyone knows where to find the artwork backgrounds?, sorry if bumping, this is the best source I could find.

EDIT: I mean in the save, not the actual images.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    Some temporary storage

also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
