Gaming Xgen updater freezes

This specific homebrew doesn't seem to work for me it just freezes

im using psp 1004 5.00 m33 and all my isos and homebrew work perfectly

Instead of updating using XGEN UPDATER, how about try updating to 5.50 GEN-A, From there you can Update GEN-A to GEN-B then to GEN-B2.

5.00 M33-6 is, i think, the minimum requirement. Im not too sure. Works here on 5.00 M33-6

Im now using 5.50 GEN-B (FULL) under 2 upgrade. not sure why there's no 2 in the update

@mcboom: Just curious can you load PSP CheatUp on your PSP? or does it crash your PSP as well?

EDIT: I desperately need to know because if it crashes I think the bug in my program may be un-fixable

Works for me too on psp 1000 5.00 m33-6. I'm gonna go test it on gen-b in a moment if I can.
