Hacking Xenoblade chronicals..controller stops responding after entering a specific building

So ive been playing xenoblade chronicals, im about 30 hours in

Spoiler: When finding the 7th character

and im at the quest where you have to get the medicine for fiora.

whenever i go into the building she is in my controller just stops responding and my characters all go into this stupid infinate run. then the sound stops.

i have tried using different loaders and ive tried running from fat32 ntfs and running from wbfs format and iso format. nothing seems to work, if anyone could please please help me, ive looked and looked for over 3 hours tonight trying to find a solution.
