Just tried to install all NSP's at the same time through SX OS.
Then it also started to install the XCI's.

Is there any downside to this?
If so, how can I undo this?

Thank you for the reply :)

It installed all the XCI's and they show up in the menu. But the NSP's don't.
The NSP's seem to have installed and show up in the installer menu as installed but not on the main switch menu.

Is there any way of uninstalling the NSP's?

They didn't show up in the data management but the tickets did showed up in SX Installer.
I deleted the tickets, reinstalled the NSP's and now they're working fine.

Thanks again for you help! :)

I've set up emunand and some installed nsp on my sd card. If I want to go online, would it be okay to boot into official firmware and update? Would my installed nsp files show up there?

You can go online your SysNAND if you never had any NSP installed before on it.
Make sure to restore the SysNAND if you have created a Backup to be more safe.
You can do anything on EmuNAND but be sure to stay in airplane mode and do not go online on it.
Install any NSP or XCI on EmuNAND since everything on EmuNAND can be deleted.

How do you restore sysnand? Wouldn't that remove sx os?
Edit: nvm, I see what you mean. Thanks for the advice :)

Either us nxmtp to mount the SD card on your PC or use USB install (tinfoil/Goldleaf).

No. SX OS is a bootloader which you can boot just like hekate via TegraRCM. Nothing gets removed.
You go to the same menu where you used to backup the SX OS. And click restore.
It may give an error and you may have to place Backup files in a different folder in sxos called restore.
To restore files just go launch up SX OS and then go to options then press on NAND and click restore.

hey i have a question i can't seem to find the answer to.

i'm on 7.0.1 sysNAND (yeah i only recently researched sx os so i know it doesn't work right now)

    say i'm on 7.0.0..
I've only been hearing about people being on emuNAND 6.2.0.
is that the highest the emuNAND can go? or can it hit 7.0.0 CFW?

Also, when creating an emuNAND, what it does is literally copy your sysNAND, correct?
so there would be no way for me to be on 6.2.0 if i'm already on 7.0.0?

Thanks, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask

edit: i also backed up my sysNAND last year summer, forget which firmware that is, but it's low.
is it possible to create an emuNAND off of that back up?

No, SX OS CFW currently works up to 6.2.0. You are able to update SysNAND to 7.0.1 with their latest release, but emunAND works only up to 6.2.0 for now. Creating emuNAND copies the sysNAND. If your sysNAND is already on 7.0.0, emuNAND would also be on 7.0.0 if you would create it right now. I am not sure if its possible to create emuNAND from a nand backup. I heard something about it, but I forgot.

I'm on 6.2 and working fine...but I want to be clear on something...both the Xecuter site AND this thread (page 1) states you CAN install on ALL firmwares.
Is this true? I read on individual posts (like the one above) that you cannot install on the newest firmware.

So meaning I can update my sysnand freely to the latest version and can still use EmuNAND as it is? (My Emu is 6.2.0). Can I freely update sysnand and access EmuNAND via Bootloader of SX OS?

I used SX installer to install some NSPs on my emunand last night. I clicked "install updates" and "install DLC" thinking it would use the update files on the SD card, but I noticed it looked like it was downloading despite being in airplane mode. I'm certain I don't even have internet settings configured on the emunand.

My question is, was it getting updates from Nintendo servers? Is my sysnand still safe for online?

Please be more accurate on what you did. Where did you click "install updates" and "install DLC"? Also if you have connected your EmuNAND to the internet you can get banned. If you connected once to the internet with CFW Nintendo could have flagged you and ban you later in a banwave. Just stop going online now won't save anything.
