The only thing I would be interested in is, how does the Team X Dongle exactly work. What code they are using.
I love reengineering stuff... can't wait to see also whats inside that dongle.

My thought on this is the sounds from people that it would be easy to implement a backup loader but they don't want to already piracy. But theyll reverse this and release it to the public? I doubt it, I could totally see them reversing it and showing off. But why would they release a piracy method if they were opposed to doing it themselves?

Ask nintendo why nobody wants to pay 79,99 for a game which they worked years on ....

A lot of people would say the same about how games take years to finish....

It is different paying 70 dollars for 1 game and 40 dollars to access every game for the console.
If u have a decent job paying 40 dollars is coffee money

Lol, this is weird, not disagreeing with you, but it's not like one person's time is worth more then the other, if there's any moral decision here it would be to wait for a free option.

(Or you know, pay for games (lol))

This is just hilarious. If anyone's up to the challenge, then why not?
It an interesting challenge, reversing and seeing how TX implemented their DRM, piracy, and others.
For educational purposes of course. ;)

That the reason I love seeing such challenge :)

I swear Natehaxx, you're like the TMZ of the hacking scene.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if SX OS reversed. Hopefully good will come of it, like reversing GW did with the 3ds scene.

Pardon me but what or who is TMZ ?

Nah I don't value one persons time more than the other . But for me it's more like: I'm not to happy with paying 70 dollars every time I wanna have a new game. But if I can pay 40 dollars (which is almost half the price of getting a single new game) and then get access to ALL THE GAMES which will ever be released to my console then I think it's kind of a good investment.

Can't understand how people won't pay 40 dollars for something a lot of people worked months to finish...

Because other devs do it for free (Atmosphere), because Xcuter ethic is... special and because it's strange to make money by hacking other companies and let run their games for free...

Here's the thing, if I paid for this I would want total control over it. Also dongles degree over time and I would hate to lose the os I paid for and would want it backed up.

It is, but I think what I'm trying to get at is, if a person puts months into making a product, that's purpose to make another person's product worthless, I don't think we should feel bad if they're product is deemed worthless.

My money would go on @naehrwert RE'ing TX OS first.
He had some success with TrueBlue, afaik he managed to dump the payload but it was still encrypted.
I maybe wrong but not sure if it was fully reversed but they at least understood how it worked (debug eboots).
TX code may well be running on an obfuscated virtual machine to thwart attempts at disassembly.
All said, I doubt this will be an easy task but a challenge the devs will likely relish.
