Yes there is..there is even poeple inject certs to a different pirated roms and they are still not banned!!!
But did they play multiplayer with it? thats the question, it doesn't matter how legit your backup is if "CFW" is detectable. Just b/c a few ppl said it was ok doesn't mean it is

Yes they report that going online with your backups is okey if your backup have their certs..am not saying its 100% safe but as long as there is no ban reports i geuss its okey for now until things change

Yea thats pretty much the only thing that we miss right now ..so if we got that i geuss we will be always one step a head tx..as they just copying you know !
If TX is just copying all the time, where did they copy the xci loading from? *crickets chirp* Yeah, exactly.

You also have ppl getting banned injecting certs with LayeredFS so theres no real answer to this. The fact its not 100% safe not many ppl are willing to sail on that ship to try it even us sxos users. Sure an xci loader is what the opensource users generally want, but online play with any backup is abit too early until we block out Nintendo's checks. This reminds me of ppl using the psnpatch or SEN enabler that doesn't 100% prevent cfw detection, tho they still got banned in the near future after its use

From what i understand..the code and all have been already there they just had to get the puzzle pieces togther.
And if we assume that they made it..then they did because its their only selling point and thats it for developing..lets copy and paste everything else
I will be glad to be wrong and see them release a cheat manger or emunand that they developed not copied ;)

And if we exclude things which don't matter for the functionality/enduser only 2 are left.

As much as I would love to see a free .XCI loader, I've got to question the need for one when we have a tool that can convert all of the .XCI files into working .NSP files with any CFW. At this point, people just want it for the drag-and-drop functionality (myself included) but we shouldn't hold our breath since the 3DS community never got .3DS backup launching. Who knows, its only been a year and a half since the Switch was released and its already been cracked wide open.

They implemented the xci loader. The base was copyed. You want to know why? Because it's done, it's quick to just use what is done and develop over that, and they don't give a f###

Who cares if TX don’t give a fuck? They offer a solution that works and if people choose to pay them for it, then so be it, that is their choice! It seems to me that most people who are using NSP’s Have been banned, while I can speak from personal experience that as I have NEVER installed any nsp and only used xci backups, I AM STILL NOT BANNED!!!

PS: My kids still use the Gateway cards in their 3DS’s. Purely because of the drag and drop ease of use. They can pop the sd into our computer and swap games whenever they choose without any installing or uninstalling bollocks... you know, just like consoles used to be!!

Actually there is a lot more benefits more then drag and drop
1. We can play a proper backups online
2. We wont get instant ban as soon as we play fortnit for installing other nsp with fake tick
3.no need for the double space size which is annoying already

You know, SX OS would not exist without the community (or would have taken WAY longer). So it does matter that they just take everything with 0 credits + violating licenses.

No it doesn’t, it’s all piracy. People really need to stop whining like babies about this.

  1. No you cannot as shown in this reddit post that explains the new anti-piracy measures implemented written by the same hacker who not only published B9S for the 3DS but also is working on Atmosphere for the Switch
  2. There is no such thing as instant ban. Pirating increases chances of getting banned, period
  3. You can install to NAND or use the network feature of tinfoil as alternatives
And before you tell me that other people have not been banned for injecting certificates into their backups, keep in mind that it has only been a few months since piracy has been enabled in the public so I cannot stress how many people are not banned despite doing stuff that will ban you. Not to mention that its clear Nintendo are stepping up their game when it comes to combating hackers as seen with the changes to the Freeshop on the 3DS, anti-modding checks in Splatoon, and the ipatched Switch units.

EDIT: I'll provide a tl;dr of the reddit post as it is rather lengthy. Nintendo has implemented title ID checks for certificates and the games they are used to go online with meaning if they don't match, you are automatically flagged which means you may receive a ban sometime in the future.

Layered FS was never meant for piracy, it was meant for game mods and as such is a very hack way of playing backups.

I used both methods you mention on my PS3 and am still not banned on that machine to this day... and I used to host modded COD lobbies and do all sorts of unfair shit online.

BTW THE WHOLE SWITCH FORUM ON GBA TEMP IS JUST MEH..... it’s full of arguing and very little actual usefulness! The WII section was a goldmine back in the day and even the 3DS had it useful stuff even tho it was 80% drama!! GBATEMP SWITCH=MORE DRAMA THAN EVERY SOAP OPERA EVER!!

Wasn't it not necessary since CIA was safter than .3ds so no one bothered with developing a loader?
