I have picked up this Box, with this issue and I can't figure it out.
I thought that most likely is a laser issue. But by swapping out the mechanism, from another Box, it does not fix the problem.
I have downloaded a game and the same thing happens.
When I click on a game, the game's splash screen shows for a few seconds, and than goes back to the dashboard.
I have tried, switching to Eco mode, did not help, I have reset it multiple times. I have replaced the HDD, tried wireless, wired internet.
Also tried different profile, none of these worked.
I have run out of options here. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Everything else works great. I have watched a Blu Ray movie, used Youtube app and everything works.
One other thing, that I should mention here, is that the green Xbox splash image, at the startup, is corrupted.
Even if I replace the animation file on the HDD, it is still corrupted. Like bad graphics chip corrupted.
Here I have found a repair site(planetgaming), that tells me that the GPU has to be reballed. That would be my case as well?
Any help would be appreciated.
