XBOX LIVE- First Fallout: New Vegas DLC Exclusive

Bethesda Softworks has recently announced that the first piece of downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas will be available exclusively for Xbox LIVE users this holiday season. “We’re excited to continue the partnership between Bethesda and Microsoft, and build on the success of the game add-ons released for Fallout 3 on Xbox LIVE,” said Pete Hines of Bethesda Softworks. “Fans will once again be able to continue their experience in the Fallout universe with the add-on packs planned for after the launch of the game.”



No information was released about what the upcoming add-on will be about or what it will be titled. But despite the lack of details, General Manager of IEB Product Marketing for Microsoft, Matt Barlow seems VERY excited and certain that you will be thrilled about the upcoming DLC, too. “Bethesda set a high bar with the quality of the Fallout game add-ons,” says Barlow. “We have no doubt that gamers will be thrilled with seeing a new add-on pack extend their adventures with Fallout: New Vegas on Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE.”

Fallout: New Vegas is scheduled to release on October 19 for North American audiences for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It will release on October 21 in Australia and October 22 in Europe.

That's fucking annoying.
I may not be planning to get this game but it's not even out and they are already showing off the DLC. That means they already have the DLC all done and shit and they are gonna release it later because they know they can get a quick tenner out of people that want this DLC.

At least it's not like halo; you don't actually need this DLC to use all the features already in game but in halo if you didn't buy the maps you couldn't enter most matchmaking playlists.

tl;dr fuck bethesda for trying to make a quick buck.

Who cares if they are already showcasing DLC? This DLC isn't even finished yet, but still shows that they are being proactive with the game.
