Did anyone ever tried using this with larger drives? As long as games work/perform as they should, not slow or anything.. i think this is pretty impressive. Though 16TB is more than overkill..

Startech adapter and udma 5 option games should load faster. I'm going to test when I get a chance. I got as far as making the M8+ Bios for 1.0 - 1.6B. Need to get a 4TB and flash bios to tsop or to an aladddin chipped xbox I have,

4TB can most likely hold xbox + PS1 + retros + Homebrew complete.

Pulled a 4TB USB hard drive out of enclosure and formatted with FatXplorer Titan option

Flashed an Xbox 1.0 with the M8plus patched bios with UDMA 5 that was tsop'd (Used EvolutionX-Build-3935 and put my patched bios in the BIOS folder)

Unleash x setup with auto installer deluxe disc

UnleashX reads 4TB fine
XBMC4GAMERS reads 4TB fine

UDMA5 is real nice - Everything is smoother and loads way faster - I tried a 2TB hard drive UDMA5 and its faster than previous methods

Startech ide2sata adapter
Seagate USB 4TB Internal in XBOX
WD White Label 2TB Internal in XBOX

Using FatXplorer to fill hard drive is a godsend = never have to ftp anything again

I never owned an xbox, but since there's a patch for the 360 as well, I would try it except I don't have anywhere near enough games. I have a 2TB external plugged into my system, and I've used about 500GBs for almost every xbla game and maybe 20 360 games (just chose the games I might play after my original external hdd died somehow). I have a 1TB hdd for my internal, which is in a pink shell casing, and it's lasted me 14 years, so it's a damn good drive. it only has dlc and indie games, where the entire set of indie games only equals between 80-100GBs. that's over 3,400 games right there. :P

Hello and Congratulations (again).😊👌

Thank you for these Achievement.
My XBox "Experiences" sadly ended 3 Years ago.......so I was away too long it seems.

Now I have read about your "new" Tools and other Things and now I am also very excited.:rofl2:

So,first,I have to "update" some XBoxes:

From 1.0 to 1.4 I need "patched" Bioses:
Are THESE the correct one ?

Thank you very much.:)

Check the md5 to make sure you have the right bios

There are 2 base bios files needed:

M8plus.bin - For 1.0-1.5
M8plus_16.bin for 1.6-1.6B

You need to patch the bios files then flash to Xbox (Unpack bios, patch bios, repack bios, flash patched bios to xbox)

You then need to format hard drive and Fatxplorer is an easy way

I totally forget about the SATA Adapters, hopefully I get one from Amazon.

EDIT - I think that is the correct one ! 👌

Very, very nice Progress for an "old" Console.

Thank you.😊👌

on the 360, I used the transfer cable, never owned an xbox, so I don't know if there's any way other than sata to usb.

Yup that addapter + UDMA5 bios is real nice. Dashboard loads faster, menus smoother and games load faster. Truly amazing after so many years.

Now I need to 128MB ram upgrade an Xbox with this.

damn, that looks way different from what I remember. it kinda looks like the page you go to to install something in dev mode on the series x, with all the green and whatnot.
Yeah this app has came a long way. I use it on all my Xbox and 360 builds. I'm gonna donate to the author.

Long file names it still an isssue - Not sure if long file names work with new bios and ftp yet.
