It's unfortunate the time has come way past Xbox days, given the recent fate of the console business. Even though I never even saw One in person (badum tss), news like this is always exciting!
Xbox is not the same like it used to be. The past few years have been rocky, from mass lay offs to raising the prices on subscriptions and consoles, and I don't think this is going to change for Microsoft as a company. It's surprising that, even after nearly 12-years of the Xbox One's life, there has never been a close exploit to open the flood gates to piracy using a true softmod; for example, the Xbox 360 took 20-years for one to appear. This will be interesting, however, it's going to take a while.

wait considering the 360 bad update hasn't been patched yet my guess is very little intrest by MS for the one will occur the Series S/X on the other hand...... especially with fable

Except for countless bans from people who weren't paying attention to disabling their Wi-Fi connection prior to executing the exploit.

Still be worth it for piracy on my xboxOne that is just collecting dust. Ban me baby, ban me hard.

Did this realy happen?
Were people banned for using bad update?
Because XeUnshackle enters an RGH-like state; if you connect to Xbox Live with the exploit, then your console is flagged. It's the same if you have a glitch chip. And yes, it has happened to a couple of people I've seen on Discord do this.

I see many people hunting down the day 1 edition.
Where did the hint come from, that this is the model to get?
This model is the only box one that used AMD

Afterwards they where changed

The elephant in the room that relatively few people consider is that this is happening because of corporate policy regarding new games: compare the new Fable to the original Fable trilogy, and then cross-reference Microsoft's corporate policy that forbids even things as simple as saying "Male" and "Female" in character creators, unless they're entirely divorced from the character model and accompanied by a "personal pronoun selector" or whatever. There was a time where Microsoft were relatively maverick as far as the gaming industry went, and this is why the hit new innovations were drawn to the Xbox and 360.

If you really wanted to expand on the Fable formula, you could try expanding on things like the Wheel of Shadows being able to sex change NPCs - maybe their ethnicities and sexual orientations could have also been changed. Maybe you could make a buff guy fat or something.

Again, where does this information come from?
The speaker never gave away any details.

If you read the description of the talk, he mentioned that Microsoft developed the BootROM, there is zero mention of anything else.
