I just bought an Xbox360 today, the 4GB version w/ Kinect. If I flash the system (assuming it's possible, gonna read the sticky), will XBL detect that even if I play a genuine copy of a game on a flashed system? Also does downloaded or copied games ever have online capabilities or is it single-player only like PC games?
If you don't patch the backups then XBL will indeed detect that the copy is illegitimate.
Even if you don't connect to XBL, AP2.5 and XGD3 games will fail to verify.
It won't cripple online capabilities cause you've got a 1:1 copy of the disc.
