Hacking Xash3D Half Life 1... Best settings?

Well just got half life working on my Vita.. It's running well.. But sometimes when playing.. It makes a crazy " game crashing type noise.. In between parts.. I've noticed.. That if I press the PS button.. Then go back to the game.. It stops... Is there a way to make it work without this glitch... Maybe settings?...

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
