Hi! I'm using wup installer Y 1.3. When installing any game the program gives me the error 0xffe0fd82. I've been searching for a while and I dont find any solutions, Does anyone know what is causing the problem?

When I try to install games to USB drive using either WUP Installer Y mod or WUP Installer GX2 I get the error '0xFFFCFFE9 access failed (no USB storage attached?)'. I can install to system memory without problems. It is funny because all my games are on the USB drive and they work fine. If I install a game to system memory I can move it to the USB drive in data management without problems. I did some tests and it turns out this error only occurs when I also have my vWii HDD connected. It is hidden with Ustealth so that I can have both vWii and WiiU HDD's connected at the same time. This works fine everywhere but in the WUP installer's. So whenever I want to install something to the WiiU HDD I have to disconnect the vWii HDD.

Anyone know a solution to that so I don't have to disconnect the vWii HDD?

    Hi all!

I'm getting an error code and I'm not sure how to fix it: mcp_installgetinfo 0xFFFBF3E2 whenever I try to install to USB from WUP via the HBC.
I was operating on the info that you can use an SD/Micro card if you plug it into a USB adapter, but perhaps this isn't the case, or maybe it's my adapter?

    Some relevant info:
    • I can install to the NAND just fine, I don't have any room though so I am using an SD card with a USB adapter.
    • The adapter is new and works in other devices.
    • This problem only occurs when trying to install to the USB.
    • The WiiU formatted/wiped the SD card in the USB adapter, so I assume that's not the issue.
    • This SD card was fully functional and was my previous SD card that I had used to host games for the GX2 launcher.
    • SD Card is 256GB
    • The USB adapter is one of those run-of-the-mill multi SD to USB, has slots for SD, micro, a total of 4 slots on it, not sure if that matters
    • To add to the point above, I recalled reading you might need a single slot SD card adapter, but honestly can't find one that doesn't have at least 2 slots.
That's pretty much it, hope somebody can help me out! It's pretty frustrating only to be able to use the WUP installer on a few games, and I don't presently have the money to drop on a USB HDD at the moment.

If was dlv you'd be on par. Cuz the idea of it needing patched fits bill, par for course. Legit is legit til we manipulate. Then it'll never be same. Lol. I'm wondering if you're having some picking up a few of the loose end titles like funky Barn and some other cool ones .. the cod games were not on the lost now luigi. If anybody once one I've already made a list of mine a separate list of mine title I do not run any information that uses red nand. I don't have any idea on the rules about posting here or I want to actually close to here I've been curious about how long I've been noticed the corporation has literally taken enough notice to speak on my behalf at one point here when the new console came out they were trying to ball up. Needless to say I have not log back into that social networking site we've all gotten hooked for one reason or another Period 2 months sober without it LOL. I could sure go for a fix but I don't want to be my account. I wish you would fall off the face of the Earth so I don't have to keep worrying maybe it's because my console was registered and then all the sudden they disappeared maybe it was because I called and complained about China somehow or another on being noticed by people. I had a r4i card posted and I didn't say anything about capacities I said it's able to do it supposed to do if you want to come get it they flagged my ass like I was selling shit on a stick do I really look like a porn star to them. I've been told I understood for those who Wonder go get some shit on your stick and you won't have to ask you just high five like a pornstar I'll be series now I'm out of flavor

This does sound like a problem. Those adapters frequently present themselves as either multiple devices or multiple logical units. Unless the SD happens to be the lowest device/LUN, asking the system to install to the first USB device will fail.

I have a Lexar USB single slot Micro SD reader that is recognized, but the Wii U doesn't recognize the same Micro SD in my multi-card reader. Neither is an SD. However, inserting the CF card from my old camera triggers the format message. That means that it sees the CF slot only, and that's consistent with the order that Windows assigns drive letters to the slots on that card - CF first, then SD/MicroSD, then MemoryStick.

If you can find a reader that does only SD and Micro SD, the slots might be tied together like mine are. In that case, it would be a single device, and the Wii U should work with it. Look for reviews of people complaining that you can't use both slots at the same time.

I love this app, just wondering if you are planning on allowing install from a usb drive or smb share?

Thank you for your work :)

It's so weird. I've been using this installer for some time flawlessly. Thank you BTW!!! But now all of a sudden when I try to install titles, the only game displayed is Splatoon - the last game I installed. I cannot change the game with the D-pad. Nothing changes at all. I figured I would delete Splatoon and a couple of other Games that were installed. NOPE. Still see Splatoon is ready to install and can't change games. Not sure how to fix this :(

Make sure that there are no actual files (only folders) in the sd:/install directory. That includes hidden ones (most common on macs.)

Splatoon must still be somewhere, since the program can't pull a name out of the air. If you haven't done so already, put the SD in the PC and run a chkdisk on it.

If that doesn't work, you can try reformatting and reloading the SD, or try another SD card.

I'm such a fool! 2 thingsl: 1, I totally forgot I needed to use the game pad - hence no input ; and 2, When I inserted the SD card into my computer, I could clearly see that Splatoon was still a folder. I deleted that (this actually happened before I realized the game pad thingy). Everything is fine and works as it should. I was tired and didn't have much time to troubleshoot last night like I do now. Enjoying some Street Fighter and Mario Party 10 now. Keep on rocking in the free world:vul1:

I repacked a modified title using NUSPacker and when I try to install it using WUP Installer y mod, I get the following error message when roughly 8.6 MB have been installed:
    Code:
    install error code 0xFFFCFFDD
What could be the problem? I used the Wii U common key in the encryptKeyWith file and once via the -encryptKeyWith command line switch to repack. Both times not working. With Mocha CFW and without, same error. The vanilla install files work just fine.

If you had previously played a game but broke the disc, what would happen if you installed the same game using this method? Would you be able to use the old save file? If not, could you get a new disc and have two separate saves (one from wup and the other from the disc)? Or, would it just erase the save?

Using Data Management in System Settings, move your save to whichever device (internal storage or USB) you're going to install the game to, then install the game. That will allow you to continue your game.

You can manipulate saves, but you're better off making yourself a second user ID if you want to keep two saves going for the same game (provided that game supports multiple user IDs.)

Can someone send me a screenshot on how do we place games? because I don't think it's gonna work if we put "install: Game 1" instead of "install/(Game title) (titleID)"

Sorry, no screenshot. The program enumerates the folders under sd:/install and presents them as a list. The folder name doesn't have to be related to the game name, so Game1 would be fine, as would the game's name. Naming folders simply by number might be confusing to you, but the program doesn't care what the folders are named, as long as there aren't any special characters in the folder name.

Requesting help. With USB helper got the XCX USA game. But used WUP installer Gx2 it hung on 23% and tried WUP Y it show an error "install error code 0xfffcffbf". I also tried to redownloaded via USB helper and validated the file no issue.

using: Sandisk 32gb and a usb 1tb to install the game

Would like to third the request of USB support to install to Wii. Would be nifty if there were support to install from USB>Wii>MoveToSD; I won't push my luck for a AIO tool.
