If you're installing with Ymod and the screen freezes at "Please wait..." after game install, reboot and don't rescan the SD card.

You must reboot everytime you swap the SD card.

It's a lot faster to swap cards during install, but this is what causes the issue.

have you tried updating the system? I don't know if it's like the 3ds where it will download missing our outdated system titles even if on the latest or not. I think it's possible to install system titles though afaik. you just need to make sure with the versions.bin. the latest version that was installed I think is listed in there, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure if it includes system titles. iirc, system title tickets are not listed in the same location though, so I don't know how that works.

When i try to install multiple files at once, it only installs one and then sends me to the Mii Maker splash loading screen. I have to restart my wii u each time to install a new file. Anyway to fix so I can install multiple files at a time?
