Hacking WUP Installer not installing games

Hi!

Total noobie here. not sure where i am going wrong but when i install games via the WUP installer GX2 in both NAND and USB they do not appear on the main home screen.
i am lost! The games are saving to the External hard drive as i can see them in system settings file manager. but i cant access them to play.
Any ideas and help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah mate,
SD:/install/Mario Kart 8
The wup installer see's it. loads it in but from there on i got nothing.

People are having weird problems with their Wii U tonight. I usually can solve most of them, but tonight I've been baffled.

try removing the brackets. I'm not sure if the system would think those were an exotic character, but folders can't have strange characters or the game won't install.

My procedure is correct then?
>Turn on console with SD card inserted and run Haxchi
>Run WUP InstallerGX and install game file
>Install complete press home button and return to menu.

I'm guessing here, but maybe re-format your sd card. Just copy all files to your computer do the re-format and copy them back.

Ok im going to remove the brackets and numbers, and reformat the SD card. will let you know how it goes

Excuse my exceptional photography whistle im waiting for my SD card.
But here you can see Mario Kart 8 & New Super Mario are both installed on the system memory & the USB drive but are not displaying on the menu.

that content might not have been indexed for some reason. can you delete those games, then reinstall them? when something is installed, it gets installed to the "import" folder, then when it's finished, it's moved to its final destination.

Ha, No, i wish they were!
Additional info is that i homebrewed this system from 5.5.4
SD card FAT32 32gb
External drive is a WD Passport 500gb using a Y splitter cable.

Okay, After re loading everything i have Super Mario bros playing off the USB drive!
Thank you all for the help. i guess the Mario Kart 8 file was corrupted or missing files. will try other games later when i rip them from the disk or find a decent download location.
