Why won't IE8 delete my history?
I don't know how many times I've clicked the delete button.
I cleared the history, I restarted the computer, I tried everything, but the website is giving me a smug smile.

I don't want to hide it, because it's not my computer.

Get Chrome or Firefox, that will solve your problem.
The computer is not mine.
...*sigh*... fine, I'll say it since you didn't get the hint from the first reply

Why don't you update IE8 to IE9?
The owner is probably a noob.

Why don't you update IE8 to IE9? IT'S NOT MY COMPUTER. I knew what you meant, but if I did, my dad would kill me. Literally.

That happens to be my dad. Who is entirely not a noob.
Wait, maybe there's a typo.
Did you want to describe yourself?

Give your dad the hint that he needs to update his browser every so often.

Then convince him that the browser he's using is 'outdated' and that he needs to 'upgrade'.

He knows what he's doing.
He won't upgrade it, I'm telling you.
He just won't. There's no point in arguing with him, either.
EDIT: CCleaner just made it worse. Now there are FIVE items shown in the bar. WTF?
