Does anyone know if it is possible to write to a slot-2 GBA flash cart using your DS.

I lost my cable a long time ago, and am unable to purchase a replacement.

Aside from the likes of the 3 in 1 there is only this (which is for FlashAdvance and explicitly states not for Flash2Advance /F2A)
http://code.google.com/p/fas1/

So possible: definitely (the link above links a library capable of doing it), able to be done right now for you: sorry.

Anything like this for X-ROM carts? I have a 512Mb card that won't flash from the linker, but I'm not sure if it's the linker cable or the cart itself.

Thanks for the speedy response. I've been looking up how to do it, and so far came up with nothing.

You might also want to try some of the alt software ( http://ucon64.sourceforge.net/ucon64/hardware.html ) that exists. Failing that did x-rom not become neoflash (to the point where the software still worked) or I am off again?

Thanks for helping me as much as you have, but my flash cart is pretty old. It's just annoying that I have it and can't use it. For now I'm stuck with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

I heard one report of FAS working with a Flash2Advance cartridge even though the page itself says it won't work, so you may wish to try it anyway. You might get lucky.

Seems that the site is down, not sure if x-rom became neoflash or not. I tried several different x-rom programs and I'm really starting to believe that the cable is the problem because I've tried to dump several retail GBA carts and they haven't worked (I've dumped carts and the roms have worked before.)
