Sometimes the best answer is simply "Yes".

@ p1ngy: The best opiate is straight opium.

When you switched languages you made my head hurt.
*woke up still drunk from last night*

Drunk but it depends on the booze, wine or cider suits me well. Vodka makes me wanna fight people even if I do love white russian cocktails.

Never really got into being stoned, I guess it effects people differently. For me it makes me wanna be alone.

If you ask *me*, personally, neither of them. I've never been neither boozed nor stoned, and hopefully never will. It's something that just doesn't appeal to me. But I have nothing against people who like it, of course. One can do with his own body whatever he wants to.

Hmmm, right about now I'd have to say drunk. Haven't been on much of a weed kick lately. If I get a little stoned, all is good. But if I get too stoned, the paranoia sneaks up on me and ruins it.

I prefer weed over alcohol any day. I like the smell of good weed. I tend to be a lot more creative on weed. Food tastes better on weed. I initially created what is now the Official GBAtemp cheat dat while stoned. Truth.

But I end up drinking more than smoking though. Weed being illegal and all is a huge complication. The stuff stays in your system too long and can prevent you from getting a job if they drug-test. You have to deal with a lot of shady people just to get it. The quality of it fluctuates wildly. It's just not worth all the hassle really. But I do love the stuff.

To be honest, I HATE the taste of alcohol. I HATE the hangovers (have an ever so slight one now) and I HATE how it makes you have to take a leak all the time. I HATE how it impairs your abilities. I tried wine-coolers for a while just for the taste, but the problem with wine-coolers is that they tend to be a lot more expensive the regular beer and you have to drink more of it to get a buzz, so I just went back to beer. I might drink one night every week or two. I don't bother drinking hard liquor.....too quick and far too devastating of a buzz for my tastes. And if you think beer tastes bad, whiskey or other hard liquors are like concentrated beer.....nasty stuff. I HATE alcohol, but it's a legal buzz where weed is not.

I spent most of my 20's perpetually drunk or stoned. I don't party much anymore. It's just an every great once in a while thing now. And I NEVER do drugs beyond alcohol or weed.

I respect people who don't drink or smoke weed, just don't preach at me about it. I don''t want to hear it.

Actually i never tried either cos im underage and weed is illegal in singapore..... But if I have a chance.... I'll try both

Yea man I heard that if you get caught with more than 200 grams you get the death penalty over there... If you're ever in a country with sane laws (btw it looks like US and Canada are just getting ready to legalize) definitely give it a try...

BTW if you live in the US and want cannabis legalized please sign this petition on change.org. http://www.change.org/actions/view/legalize_marijuana
If anyone here thinks weed is illegal because it's bad for you read this first then think again. http://blogs.salon.com/0002762/stories/200...anaIllegal.html
It's bad enough we have drunk drivers, having people driving who are stoned are just as bad, if not worse off. Based on consumption levels I would wager that smoking weed would make you more impaired right away then having 3 bottles of beer, which is about the maximum one should be drinking before driving, alcohol also takes longer to get into your system, you aren't instantly drunk as soon as you have a sip, especially with mixed drinks. Marijuana should only be legal for medicinal reasons, thats it.

Alcohol impairs your ability to drive a lot more than weed. However, I still don't approve of impaired driving and would never drive while drunk or high, but I believe all people should be able to smoke when not behind the wheel. Outlawing something for everyone just because there might be a few irresponsible users is just not right. By that logic, you might as well outlaw kitchen knives because they can be used to stab people. Besides, that's not why weed was outlawed in the first place, you can blame that on ignorance, fear, racism, and special interests, at least in the US (I don't know about Canada, they probably copied the US or something).
