Got my DS after release. I don't think there were any flashcarts available then. Maybe some slot2 device. I bought a DSi XL this spring and I haven't decided what flashcart to get yet so I'm sticking to my genuine carts and DSiWare for a while.

A lot of people already bought systems before they knew about flashcards.

I mean I don't make a lot of my own money so I can't buy a lot of stuff and there's so many games out there that are worth playing but not worth the purchase. There's hardly any games worth the purchase.
