could you not install linux on a bootable partition on the ext. hdd, as well as the partition you have to use for wii, then feasably be able to use that ext hdd on the PC to boot into linux, and copy over the iso's you have or have downloaded to the wii partitiotn at that point? would that not be a good work around?
