Gaming Worthwhile dual-boots?

Hey guys, I'm running Windows 7 and on my SSD, I realized I could shrink the volume, so I could make another partition without formatting, so that's exactly what I did. Just curious as to how each OS (incl OSX, Linux distros) will benefit me? I can do almost everything I need in Windows 7, so what are the benefits of dual booting with something?

For most users, there's no real benefit beyond the chance to play with and possibly become proficient with another OS. To that extent, the choice is really up to you, although a Linux system will usually be easier than OSX to set up.

You can always dual-boot Windows 7 and Windows 7. You get two Windows 7 for the price of 7 minus 7.

I don't like dual booting. It makes booting up slower.
