I have Super Kirby Clash on my list of the worst games. It looks nice, but it feels more like a cashgrab game for smartphones because of the forced breaks to "refill" resources to fight. But what do you expect, if it's for free?
I've tried the Fairy Tail game for Switch. It's kinda disappointing. You just get dropped into the middle of Fairy Tail's story after Tenrou Island with a small fight explaining the fight system. It looks okay'ish, the animations are a bit to static. Overall the game suffers from many fps drops to about 15 fps. The game really feels like it could have been a title released 10 years ago.
The music sounds very generic with some pieces of Fairy Tail mixed in.
Gameplay in short up to chapter 3: Lots of small
tutorials how to do things and some introduction into a bit of grinding levels and quests.
I just cannot enjoy the slow dialogs and streched animations.
If you want an example how cheap this game is: Just jump three times in a row. The jumping sound from the character is always the same. The game is not worth 60 Euros.
If you don't have anything better to play and you like Fairy Tail, you might want to play it, but for everyone else it's a huge disappointment. Go for Xenoblade Chronicles instead. It doesn't look like a Fairy Tail themed whitelabel product.
--- Update
Played a bit further. Now Chapter 4 and I really understand, why someone wrote "it's just for fans". Because you need to know what happened in the Anime. The fight Flare vs Lucy was a huge disappointment after the Labyrinth was completely skipped and told in a few speech bubbles. WOW! I know the different games in the tournament would be challenging to display, but skipping this completely? It's like the anime spend 3-5 episodes on in and they just make a animationless cutscene out of it. WOW!
in the fight Lucy vs Flare, you just spam your attacks on her until the fight stops and you see the two characters just standing in the arena while the text is telling what is going on. Cutscenes? Nope.
To be fair: The real cutscenes are okay. It feels like the graphics are a bit polished, the music is fine, but they are rare to happen. Bonus points for the pool fanservice scene which was well animated.
Back to the fight after it started again: Flare told Lucy not to do anything, but you're supposed to attack her and get 5 rounds the same "I told you not to move" message in return. Either I did it wrong, or I exploited the game.
Stepping forward in the game (I don't know how many chapters is has, but I feels like that there is not much more contained than the Grand Magic Games Arc. I cannot upgrade the facilities in the guild further and I'm already guild rank 50 (Rank B).
It could have been a really good game, if they wouldn't have saved every penny possible to deliver a full price game that lacks in variety of sounds and expressions (positive: Original VA in the game) and some characters are missing completely (Millianna is just visible as 2D Drawing in a "cutscene" while I suspect that there isn't a 3D model of this beloved character.
It might not be fair to say "worst game", but all of this just makes me tell everyone, to avoid this game and I would demand my money back, if I wouldn't want to finish the game as a fan.
