Pokemon Sword/Shield, BotW, the countless 'no-one cares' things cluttering the store...Mario 3D All-Stars...
Ehhh, I won’t call 3D all stars the worst, it’s only value is really Galaxy, I have better ways to play 64, and as for sunshine, well, it’s sunshine, no one wants to play it again

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

id probably say majority of nintendo first party titles, same old rinse repeat, in fact most lazy arsed ports from the wii u, but by far botw was an absolute pile of shit.

nintendo cant think what they can do for a new zelda game (after been lazy on the wii u and porting the gc titles) they basically do a massive map, shit loads of boring shrines that feel like a tech demo on how the switch motion controls could be used, no story, no missions thats story drive, just run aimlessly until you find something and get that bored you think fuck it im going for gannon.

which is another fucked up thing, the battle system is so fucked up, how normal enemies would kick your arse, yet gannon was a complete pile of piss.
Jesus Christ, why the fuck do so many people here have this raging hate-boner for botw

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

ACNH, it's an unfinished game sold for the full 60 dollar price.
I disagree, it’s not better than new leafs but it’s still pretty fun

Exactly; equipment fragility. Limited stamina. Clunky, slow, awkward, clumsy combat. A severe lack of tools (only four, when other Links have dozens). Rain making climbing impossible. Hundreds of shrines with identical blue wallpaper. Orbs gotten from shrines that increase EITHER Hearts or Stamina, instead of both (or just forgoing stamina as a mechanic entirely and only upgrading Hearts). No Heart Pieces gotten from doing random sidequests. Tedious resource collecting/grinding. Slow and boring world traversal, due to needing to nurse a bloody hindrance of a gauge. Overpowered enemies that can one-shot unsuspecting players, such as hinxoes and horseback bokoblins.

Absolute scum of a game; irrevocable garbage. Mods to exterminate stamina and save hacking to assassinate fragility just make it slightly more tolerable, but the rest of the flaws just end up killing the game anyway.
While BOTW may not be what YOU expected from a Zelda game, saying it’s the worst game on the Switch is like saying Michael Jackson is the worst singer in modern history. Just because something is not to you’re taste, that doesn’t make it the worst. There are literally millions of people who enjoyed BOTW.

By the way, my choice would be any one of the RBI Baseball games.

1) Galaxy, in my subjective opinion, was nowhere near as good as it's often claimed to be. When you select a Galaxy, you have no choice but to get the Stars in order, whereas in 64 DS you could veer off and get the Stars in almost any order - want to free the Chain Chomp before fighting King Bob-omb? Can do! Want to solve the treasure chests' puzzle before sinking the pirate ship? You can!
The Red Star power-up is practically never used, so why does it exist? Rosalina does absolutely nothing to help whatsoever and she's the worst character in the series and never should have come back in 3D World or Super Smash Bros. or Mario Kart. Mario has suddenly and inexplicably dropped from 8 HP (64 DS, Sunshine) to 3 HP from this game onwards, and that's a terrible change since three hits from any enemy will kill him now, whereas before that was only a threat from stronger and rarer foes. There's six motion-controlled Stars that are utterly enraging to get, since the controls are dysfunctional and dumb - and there's that thing called the Nunchuk analog stick that we've been using everywhere else that provides better controls why isn't it used here goddamn idiotic design...(the only time I've played Galaxy was years ago, on the Wii - apparently that's now optional, but still never should've been motion-only).

2) Because Breath of the Wild is a mediocre open-world game with bullshit hindrances and worthless combat and repetition, and a Legend of Zelda skin painted on top. That's why; it's absolutely not worth anyone's time when Link's Awakening, Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker (HD or otherwise) exist - or when Assassin's Creed Origins or Skyrim (PC with fan-patches and anti-stamina mods) exists.

3) New Horizons lacks Resetti's rants - utter worthless trash. Gimme New Leaf any day, since that's actually fun.

it’s the worst game on the Switch
it's the worst disappointment on the switch for sure. when i first played it it was fun at first exploring the large world and discovering what was out there. shortly after i discovered there wasn't much out there really just a big empty world with lame shrines with puzzles that could all be cheesed with runes, no dungeons and exploration was pretty much pointless which is what makes a zelda game worth it.

Because its a bag of shit, it sucks when you compare to other open world rpg games.

It also sucks if you compare to other zelda games

The fact we havent had a new zelda title since the cube, its piss poor.

All trolling aside, I would nominate little town hero, maybe not as the worst, since it at least runs, but certainly the most disappointing. Specially for the price. Though it's listed at $25 now, and I'm not 100% sure if it was always that price because I could swear it was $40 at launch, but that's still about $20 more than I would pay for it.

What the title says, I recently got recommended a bunch of amazing switch indies and I now want to know what the worst games on the switch are.
KotoDama. It's an extremely generic visual novel with Candy Crush puzzle crap thrown in.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And Pokémon SW/SH. You have to pay over $100 for a still incomplete game.

I'm only speaking for the games I got, but I think Minecraft is probably the worst game on my Switch. It isn't even the Switch that makes the game bad, it's just Microsoft's baffling decisions with Bedrock edition. It takes me less than 15 seconds to boot up Minecraft on my PC (all be it Java edition).

Why does it take freaking 5 MINUTES to boot up Minecraft on the Switch? And once I'm in the main menu, I have to go through an entire 10 minute process just to sign into my Microsoft account just to use a skin I've purchased. I can go on and on, but I might instead make a review on Minecraft: Bedrock, but my god do I despise it.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's one of the worst games on the Switch but it's definitely overrated and I think it's because it's a Nintendo Zelda game, fanboys and fangirls are likely to rate such a game high because they just love Zelda games. I didn't know much about it, I had played through older Zelda titles for the first time recently and when I finally got my Switch, it was one of the first games I played and I was disappointed, it didn't feel like a Zelda game to me. I don't mind the open-world concept but the execution was, in my opinion, pretty bad and overall, it was just a boring game.

It's funny cuz older versions of Bedrock (e.g. Xbox 360) actually start up WAY faster and easier. It's almost like Microsoft downgraded the game.
Well yeah, but those aren’t bedrock, they are their own separate versions

That’s amazing, it’s the first time I disagreed with every single point someone made on this website

I do agree with many points you made about Galaxy, such as the red star being sparsely used throughout the game, and the motion controls thing. I HATE motion controls. They're unresponsive as balls. As for Rosalina, she did play a pretty big role in the plot, and was just a cool character overall. I mean, she is the one who OWNS the hub world, so she's pretty necessary I'd say. And the health being only 3 hits, I didnt mind too much. Coins give you health and they're scarce enough so the game isn't always incredibly easy.

With BOTW, I disagree completely.

And ACNH is still being consistently updated (it just received an update 5 days ago) so maybe we will get Resetti.

RiME. Unless RiME has been fixed after all this time.

I'd also say Devil's Third, thing is that sack of turds never came out on the Switch. I thought it did for some reason (Nintendo porting over every Wii U game gave me that idea).

Also, "skin I've purchased" - when Java skins are FREE. Sure, you have to make or find one yourself, but still no need to pay.
Meanwhile Bedrock has tons of goddamn transactions built-in, and none of them were necessary.

The fact that Mario 64 isn't in 16:9 and Mario Sunshine isn't compatible with the GameCube controller is pretty damn lazy of Nintendo.

I thought they were gonna make new prints of the GameCube controller 'cause I'd like to buy a new one for a decent price, but nope.

What's worse is that they're making the physical release limited for some reason and even the digital one. This is just insane, yet Nintendo fans are okay with it because.. It's Nintendo they can do no wrong!
