Smoking.
Its the only one on the list that has a(n actual) physical addiction. Gaming and Online Stuff both have a mental addiction, but, as one that's quit smoking, i can tell you that the physical, on top of the mental, isn't fun.
Also, with the whole "drinking" thing, yes, it's bad, but you can't just pop a beer on the way to work. I mean, you can, but the legality of smoking makes it harder... you're "forced" into limited drinking. Yes, some people drink before work, but you see my point.
And, as for the marijuana thing... that was a hilarious read. Thank you
For some REAL information about the "dangers" of marijuana, go do a quick search for Donald Tashkin. He's a lung specialist at UCLA. He was working on a 20+ year study to link marijuana to lung cancer. Early last year, he (being one of the biggest anti-marijuana advocates) posted on his site that his research could NOT connect marijuana to lung cancer, and his findings actually pointed towards marijuana possibly having curing effects on cancer.
Also, take a look at a new drug that Big Pharma has been making called Marinol. Yup, that's right. It's synthetic THC. They are taking a weed... A WEED... that is so dangerous, and creating a pill with the same effects. Hmm... someone trying to make a quick buck on this?
Who provides money for those anti-weed commercials you see on TV? Yup! Big Tobacco and Big Alcohol. OH RIGHT! And those three corporate companies provide kickback to...? Yup, the government.
Go ahead and say "conspiracy theory bullshit!" and you're 66% correct
We've been lied to for YEARS and now they can't go back and change their word, due to pride.
And i won't even get into how fucked up it is that weed is illegal, yet cigs and alcohol is good to go.
(You know the difference between driving drunk and driving stoned? Driving drunk, you blow through a stop sign going 50 mph. Driving high, you stop at the stop sign and wait for it to turn green! *buh dum tss*)
Wow. Sorry. Been doing some research over the past few years on multiple things that have been horribly misrepresented by the US government, and this just so happened to be mentioned here (another is the US prison system... now THAT is fucked up. Did you know that over 80% of prisons in the US are privately owned? And each owner gets money based upon how many people are in their cells? Yea, hilarious, right? But that's another rant for another time...)
So, in conclusion... *cue The More You Know star*
