It's my the guide at the top of the forum http://gbatemp.net/t227742-new-users-guide...ting-up-wood-r4

Creates files called xxx.1.sav xxx.2.sav and xxx.3.sav
Great info, thanks!

Update: Sounds good but doesn't work. When I select copy slot it looks like its copying, but then Wood 1.07 hangs itself. After a hard boot there is no copy of the save file. Is a genuine R4 (2007, one of the first after the plastic shell and springloading where replaced). Normal copy/paste always works. Is this a known bug, otherwise I will report it.

I have another suggestion:

2-3 updates per month, depending on the demand for a game fix.

your just asking for NO updates.

YWG will update whenever he wants to.
I'm asking that because we've always (since Wood R4 has existed) got the game fix updates first but this time there is another that got it first.
We're supposed to brag to the people using other carts!

I'm not gloating. I'm telling the truth. Since Wood R4 has existed, we've always had the best compatibility.

Here's mine:

Both the (B) button and the L trigger go up a directory. You can already use select+L Trigger to change the files displayed, so why not change the L trigger to a shift key?

L+up = enable cheats for this game
L+down = disable cheats for this game
L+left = enable soft reset for this game
L+right = disable soft reset for this game
L+start = Slot-2
L+select = show hidden files
L+X = Copy highlighted option to favourites
L+Y = Settings
L+A = List cheats for this game
L+B = Launch moonshell.nds

Copy/Paste through WIFI!!
It would be nice to be able to copy a SAV file or even a ROM file from one DS to another through WIFI connection!

Is it possible?

I'm pretty sure you could just use DS2DS (homebrew) for that...but then again, one could equally say you could use DSOrganize for copy/paste/delete/cut as well, so meh...If you really want transferring DS to DS through wifi, you could take a look at DS2DS (in the likely event that all of these suggestions don't see fruition).

Didn't knew about this homebrew.
I'll sure look into that.
Thanks!

Looking through the code, this should be pretty easy for the Y.W.G to implement. Instead having L+B launch MoonShell, you could have it launch a shortcut manually specified in globalsettings.ini. Perhaps in a later revison, that shortcut could also be added to the root menu. With Slot1/Slot2/Favorites, there's still room for one more.

Suggestions:

--A less intrusive default theme. I can barely find anything on the GBATemp Exclusive theme when I switch firmware versions.
--If a GBA game is too big for simply playing without flashing to NOR, ask before flashing. (This not implimented is why I lost the use of my 3in1 for a couple of days)
--Built in Wi-Fi checker. Like, when you turn on your R4 it shows the little square 3 bar thing and does all the things depending on if you have a connection or not.
--Press a button combination to hear the time spoken to you... Like for if you wake up in the middle of the night and turn on your DS only to check the time, but the screen's too bright for you.
--An instruction manual. I don't know how to use some of these options in my settings menus.
--A tutorial on how to make themes for Wood R4. I'd like my own, thanks, but I don't know how.

A lot of those are unrealistic and will take to much effort for the YWG to do.

Theme: it's simple enough to change the skin so I don't see what people are complaing about.

Time Spoken to you: I imagine you'll have to find a homebrew which already speaks the time, and is open source. Opening the DS will still turn on the screen. You're better off getting a speaking clock and put it next to your bed.

Instruction Manual: I believe mine is as close as you will get http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=227...=0#entry2841970 Another World may do a WiKi for Wood too.

Making Themes: The themes are the same as the Acekard's, so just use one of the Acekard Skin tutorials.

I know it's simple, but with the background being so intrusive and the font color being as it is I almost can't find the settings button.
