Hacking wood on r4 ils

Hi, sorry for this topic. I have a r4 ils, and i have tried many times a way for the wood to work fine, but it not worked.
Am I doing something wrong? I put the _RPG and the wood.nds files in the root of the r4, but when I play the file, in the ds shows up a black screen where i can choice 3-4 icons, like a ds cartrige, a gba cartrige and a folder. If I select one of these nothing happens, instead when i press the start button, the ds freeze...can someone please help me? (sorry for my bad english I am Italian

your R4 is a clone and Wood R4 doesn't support clones which is why it won't work

[D]aRk[D]rEam seems to think there's a difference between Wood RPG and Wood R4 beyond the fact that one is for AceKard RPG (Wood RPG) and one is for R4 (Wood R4).
