Hacking Wood for R4i Gold v1.4?

Hello, I've had trouble running many of the newer homebrew and other programs for the R4i and just learned that Wood solves the problem for R4. Is there something that provides the same fix for the R4i Gold v1.4 as Wood does for the R4? Thank you!
