Hardware Wiring the GBC IPS LCD V3

So Handheld Legend's tutorial on this backlight mod is nonexistent, and I've hit a bit of a snag. The instructions direct you to wire the daughter board to the select, A, and B buttons, but I'm not sure what exactly they mean by that. Would anyone be able to post a pic of the motherboard with the specific pins circled that I need to solder these wires to? I can't imagine I'm just soldering them to the pads themselves. I'm frustrated that they don't have something as simple as this on their tutorial for this mod.

I just ordered a similar mod to this for my gba. The two pads are touchpads and don’t get soldered. If you can supply power to test the screen, you’ll be able to test and confirm that they are touchpads. There would be some adhesive on the pads to stick them to the shell.

No, I'm talking about the wires that it came with. By wiring the board to the main GPU, you can control the brightness and colors. It's fine, though, I'm testing things out.

There are test pads by each button, I think that's what they mean.
Planning on modding my GBC in the future, but I'm gonna use the new Q5 OSD IPS kits that use the same square-ish LCD as the latest DMG mods. Same sort of setup with the buttons and capacitive touch sensors though.
