Hardware Wireless Charging mod

So I wanted to do this, I thought it would be cool, not so incredibly useful for me personally, but just for a small fun project, not so difficult to do compared to other stuff.

I saw that someone already did it here, it works fine

The wireless charging receivers are quite cheap, and thin.

I expect using a 2DS would have even more space, I guess you could even fit some solar panels in there, since the thing is huge with a nice flat back.

Any input?
I really don't have much experience with electronics, I have a soldering iron and can do basic stuff, but I have never had to think about volts and resistance etc...

If the volts of the charger match up the the volts the 3DS needs, is that it, I don't need any extra little components to add, just connect the wires?

Working with the motherboard is always a risk if you don't know what the heck you're doing. Still a nice mod, hope you don't kill your 3DS in the while.

I can't help with soldering, etc, but I think this could be pretty cool!
I've always liked the idea of wireless charging.

I remember using one of those to mod my Galaxy S3 for wireless charging..... Still working like a charm but I would be hesitant to try this on a 3DS


Maybe if this works this can be a Mod u can offer

i looked on youtube and fond some more videos about people doing it to their 3ds, yes the wireless receiver coil you install is very thin, it will fit in most things it will fit in any 3ds just fine
